Google Updates Webmaster tools Unnatural Links Warning Messages Update From Matt Cutts

Matt Cutts Has Given an Update on his Google plus post today

28 /7/2012 at 00.28.29 regarding the Unnatural Link Warnings

that were sent last week.

Webmaster Tools Dashboard looks clean now for all those who didn’t had sleep since they saw the yellow unnatural link warnings and 2 or 4 unnatural inbound links warnings for their single site since 23/7/2012 here have a look at the dashboard with all the yellow warning messages cleaned and the multiple unnatural inbound links warning. Now it says in the heading over the message "New and important".
Matt Cutts has written over on this change in his today's update which he named as update 2 on this topic.

In addition, we did some more work this week and today we’re deleting the out-of-date messages that caused the initial confusion, so site owners won’t have two messages about the same issue appearing in Webmaster Tools.

Update 2: We sent out the updated, more precise messages this past Sunday. We hope these messages are clearer because the newer messages specify if we've taken action on individual links to the site rather than on the entire site.

In addition, we did some more work this week and today we’re deleting the out-of-date messages that caused the initial confusion, so site owners won’t have two messages about the same issue appearing in Webmaster Tools.

Matt Cutts Has Given a update earlier also when the whole web world was in a state of panic and dilemma on the messages that were sent to the websites which even didn’t started any link building. And then there was another storm of 2 to 3 messages with the No warning sign Unnatural Inbound Link Messages on 23/7/2012.

Update: Thanks to everyone who gave feedback on this change. An engineer worked over the weekend based on the suggestions here, and starting on Sunday we made two changes so you can tell the "individual links aren't trusted" messages from the "our opinion of your entire site is affected" messages.

First off, we changed the messages themselves that we'll send out to make it clear that for a specific incident "we are taking very targeted action on the unnatural links instead of your site as a whole." So anyone that gets a message going forward can tell what type of action has occurred.

The second change is that these messages won't show the yellow caution sign in our webmaster console at google.com/webmasters/ like our other webspam notifications. This reflects the fact that these actions are much more targeted and don't always require action by the site owner.

Thanks again for the feedback, and we'll continue to work on ways to provide more useful and actionable information for site owners.

The Actual Whip Google took on unnatural links was toward the end of March 2012 and in early April 2012 when Google began sending out warnings about “artificial” or “unnatural” links.
The recent algorithm updates Google panda and Google penguin has given lots of worry and new learning sense to webmasters and SEO industry. There had been lots discussions going around the major search engine and webmaster blogs.

Google's moves have always been a topic of discussion as it holds the major part of the search engine world. The most hit by the new Google algorithm updates were the small and medium business websites.
The major reason for Google implementing penguin update was to clean the spam from resulting in search results that were the result of cheap SEO practices with the use of software and spamming Bot blasts which are carried out at the cheapest prices of few bucks which result in sudden SERP boost for the websites using these techniques. Though the rankings achieved through this practices are short lived but definitely fill the pockets of the affiliate marketers who built those websites for just the sales and search engines not for people.

The next moves Google will take are really a wait and watch. So just be prepared for the challenges ahead to survive on the web with ethical practices.

we can’t say what will be Google’s next move so just be prepared for more Google Roller coaster rides.
